  • I joined after overcoming a reluctance based on feelings of the hopelessness of minority parties in a system that delivers an enormous Parliamentary majority to a party receiving only 34% of the votes in a general election. But I support all the things that William and Rod support and I am an old (in every sense) Labour man who was alienated by Blair and infuriated by the metropolitan elite, woke folk who have captured the sad remnant that is today’s party. I have followed my principles and my intellect rather than expediency and cynicism.
